going big by going home

Picture
"Go big or go home"!  We love to go big for God, to be a part of large, extravagant, well done events, but it takes a lot of time and energy to plan and organize what will happen.  Sometimes we don't have all the time or energy to provide a large impact, but we still want to make a difference.  That is why we are starting our "Go Big By Going Home" campaign.

The exact same feeling of celebration and joy happens when you have a party at your house, friends over for a meal, or a time to hangout and play cards.  "Go Big By Going Home" is a campaign to move us in our life to make space for others.  Go Big By Going Home happens the third weekend of the month and this is what you do...

  •  Each month has a specific "event" that you create in your house like you have done 1,000 times before.
  • Invite neighbors to your house to participate in the event.
  • Have 1 spiritual conversation.
  • Enjoy life.

WHAT? A SPIRITUAL CONVERSATION!

Take it easy, you're not asking someone an evangelism question such as, "if they were to die tonight after leaving my house would you go to heaven?"

You are simply being a part of a posture of listening.

It sounds like this...

  • Some people are talking and the word cancer comes up.  You share your story of how cancer affected your life, and the place Jesus had in it.
  • You are talking about your kids, and you share something they did with your church, or how they lived something out to another person that they learned from a Bible story.
A spiritual conversation is a moment you can go to a new level.
