Jesus says "come follow me." And we know following Jesus is the most difficult thing to do. It's not because Jesus is difficult. It's because we can be difficult. Our selfish desires get in the way. Our selfishness prevents us from making space in our life for others. Living a "missional life" is living life as Jesus has asked us to live, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind and love your neighbors as yourself."
Life can be messy and Jesus knows it. As we follow Him, we are moved by His desire to jump into the messy areas of our lives with grace and forgiveness. As we live a missional life, we begin to understand our messy life is not going to stop Jesus from loving us, wanting a relationship with us, and helping us share His love and forgiveness with others.
A Missional Community is a family of missionaries sent by God to make disciples who make disciples.
