We embrace four core values that guide our decisions, our behavior, and ultimately, how we live our lives, giving glory to God and growing His kingdom.
God's Word
Life is messy and full of tough decisions. Therefore, we seek God’s influence, truth, and wisdom through the Bible to guide our decisions. We look for opportunities to share God’s Word with others so they may build a relationship with Jesus. We gather together with other Christians to praise and worship Jesus, accepting His forgiveness, mercy and grace.
God’s Love
At Journey, we meet people where they are now. We show them the love of Christ and tell them of the grace he freely gives us. We intentionally seek out opportunities to serve people with Christ’s unconditional love.
Relationships
Journey is a place to be yourself, where we involve and invite people to connect within our community. We come alongside people to listen to their concerns in times of need and celebrate during times of joy. We are intentional in forming authentic relationships through community groups, reaching out in service and mission. We multiply by helping others build their relationships with Jesus.
Transformation
Journey is a place of encouragement where we strive to join Jesus in everyday life. We don’t let our past brokenness define us; we let our growth in Jesus lead our bad (undesirable) behaviors to good ones. We respond with generosity, because of Jesus working in our lives, fulfilling His desire to have a relationship with everyone. We provide discipleship opportunities for all.
