In 2012, Pastor Jon and his family moved from Wisconsin to help start Journey Ministries. "The focus of our family and of Journey is to influence lives for Christ. We know how important it is to be intentional and to obey God's commands to 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength' and to 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' We are grateful for His grace, mercy, and forgiveness in our lives and celebrate with the many people experiencing this same gift from God."

"Since our family moved to Fishers in 2012, we have experienced a lot of change in our life and witnessed it in the lives of others. Most of the change has been good, even great, and we praise the Lord! Sometimes, the change has been difficult. It is the ultimate comfort to know that the love of our Lord in heaven never changes. I pray our plans are always His plans and am excited to see how He continues to bless our Journey family."

Tom is married to Joni and they have three children, Addison Humburg, Emma Humburg, and Fletcher. They live in Noblesville, Indiana.
"As a Pastor's kid, I have been in church my whole life but was not always involved. As a professional musician and over time, I found myself playing guitar in the church. Through the Holy Spirit, I was being led toward worship music ministry. I am so happy to be a part of Journey and the focus of discipleship. Journey is a comfortable place to connect with others and share the good news of Christ. My family and I feel blessed to be a part of such a powerful, growing ministry."

Being a part of the board has helped increase that excitement because I get to see the behind the scenes work and passion that has gone into strengthening and growing our ministry."
