Pastor Jon is married to Becky and they have three children, Abigail, Noelle, and Naomi. They live in Fishers, Indiana.
In 2012, Pastor Jon and his family moved from Wisconsin to help start Journey Ministries. "The focus of our family and of Journey is to influence lives for Christ. We know how important it is to be intentional and to obey God's commands to 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength' and to 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' We are grateful for His grace, mercy, and forgiveness in our lives and celebrate with the many people experiencing this same gift from God."

Lauren Hixson is married to Robert and they have two children, Annabeth and Owen. They live in Indianapolis. "I love being a part of Journey because it is a wonderful family of believers that pushes me to grow in my faith and it is so welcoming to newcomers of all ages and backgrounds. I especially treasure seeing the children of our congregation, as they learn to recognize God in their daily lives."

Gregg Horstmeyer Born and raised in Ft. Wayne, IN. Went to Indiana University and then graduated from Indiana Dental School in 1982. I have been lucky enough to have the privilege and pleasure of being married to my wife, Joyce, since ;1989. We have one son, Philip, who is now 26 and an engineer at Lilly. He makes us proud every day of our lives. I was blessed by two loving parents who negotiated a non-optional agreement that we would all attend a Missouri Synod Lutheran church every Sunday of our lives. I have continued that tradition my entire adult life. I was a founding member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church where I served as Vice-President for 6 years and then had the privilege of officially joining Journey as a member in 2019.
Steven Brodie is married toDebra and we have four children (Leigh 35, Austin 30, Evelyn 27, and Darian 22). When I located to Indianapolis, I connected with a church that I thought was the right place to begin truly pursuing a relationship with Christ. After 10+ years there, I realized nothing had changed. That’s on me. However, God never stops pursuing, and shortly after, I received a phone call that opened the door for me to be a part of Journey Ministries establishment, growth, and evolution. I am here because the people are genuine, the pastor is a stratosphere beyond excellent, and the music director is a spiritually inspiring soul with extreme talent. The Journey environment is intimate and inclusive, with a primary focus toward exercising our discipleship of Christ. I got lost in the mega church, and I’m at Journey because God answered my prayer when I answered the phone.
Jay Smith is married to Michelle. We decided that we needed to find a place of worship that met both our needs. I thought I was “comfortable” with fire, brimstone and traditional organ. Michelle wanted somewhere that was more intimate, contemporary and upbeat. After discovering Journey, I realized that I was looking for the same. I’ve never had such close relationships with my Pastor and congregation before. Also, I have had the opportunity to serve in unique ways. I look forward to continuing to serve our Lord with you.

Holly Fisher is married to Todd and they have two children, Nick and Kelly. They live in Fishers. "Journey has played a very important part in our family’s lives. Both of our children took confirmation classes and were confirmed here. The sense of belonging to a close-knit family of God is evident when we walk through the doors. Journey is a wonderful place to worship, socialize, and grow in our relationship with God."
