RHYTHMS

The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.
2 “I will make you into a great nation,
    and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
    and you will be a blessing.[a]
3 I will bless those who bless you,
    and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth

Each  person has specific rhythms of how they do life.  We believe it is important that each of our communities have rhythms too.

Begin in prayer
Prayer is a way you can communicate with God.  As you have chosen to go on mission with God, it’s important to stay in communication with him.

Listen to others
Listening to others isn’t the first thing we normally want to do.  You should listen to their     heart.  Their struggles, celebrations, and what God is doing to them even if they don’t have
a relationship with him.  Choosing to listen will help as you learn to love them.

Eat
Food is a rhythm of life.  Everyone eats.  People are comfortable around food and since  you are suppose to eat 21 meals in a week so why don’t you share a meal with someone else?

Study scripture
God’s word needs to be the number one influence of your life.  You can’t listen to him if your
not in scripture.  His influence will help you navigate life, and support you with wisdom,
knowledge, forgiveness, and mercy as you live every day with gospel intentions.

Serve people
God tells us to “love one another as He has loved us”.  Easier said then done.  As you serve
people, big or small, you will grow in loving them unconditionally.  As they are served
they won’t see your glory, but the glory of Christ in you..
