Thank you for volunteering to help with A Night In Bethlehem, a fun and interactive family event celebrating the night our Savior was born.
Below is a list of areas and a brief description that need help in order to provide an excellent ministry to our community. On the right, please mark the ministry area you would like to be part of. Set up (during the day on Thursday & Friday): Help with setting up canopies, tables, decorations and props. This will mostly happen the day before the event with some last minutes details the day of. Tear down: Take down and put away all canopies, tables, decorations and put into storage. This will happen immediately after the event. Welcome desk: You will greet families as they enter the building and ask them to register for the census. You will begin the "outreach" with a friendly smile, so grateful to have you greeting. This is the first step to building a relationship with our new guests! Shopkeeper: You will play a role as a shopkeeper in Bethlehem, wear a costume and lead the guests through shops including a bakery, jeweler, basket weaving, and more. Shopkeeper assistant: You will assist the shopkeeper, wear a costume, and help as needed. Other helpers include a Roman Soldier, Shepherd and Innkeeper. |
